My name is Bruce Stewart. At the moment, I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada (although we have aspirations to move within the next year at most).
I’ve spent my career as an Information Technology manager, researcher, executive advisor, author, and consultant. I am formerly a columnist with Computerworld. Right now I’m the founder and CEO of my own company, Accendor Research. I’ve also twice been an adjunct graduate school professor, once at the University of Toronto, and once at UBC. Finally, I’ve been the co-host (with Allan Holender) of BizTalk Radio and ZenBiz Radio.
I am well read in history, philosophy, political science, economics and keep up with developments in the sciences. I apply these to the challenge of trying to figure out likely futures — and what they mean to us as individuals, living in a highly-technology-dependent society.
You can follow me on Twitter, or via my FriendFeed. I am on Facebook. Finally, you can reach me by email.
